Frankrijks eerste deathmetalband Loudblast (opgericht in 1985 en met tussenpozen actief) komt begin november via Listenable Records met het nieuwe album Manifesto. De plaat is opgenomen in Vamacara Studio in Clisson, Frankrijk. Producers zijn HK Krauss en bandleider/vocalist/gitarist Stéphane Buriez. De albumhoes is ontworpen door Eliran Kantor. Loudblast is bevestigd voor de volgende editie van Alcatraz, dat plaatsvindt in Kortrijk van 12 tot en met 15 augustus 2021.

Buriez over de nieuwe collectie songs: "The themes refer to the chaos of life as such, to the chaos of society, the darkness of man revealed through his everyday actions. In Manifesto there's the unhealthy side of our previous album Burial Ground (2014), the atmospheres of Disincarnate (1991), Sublime Dementia (1993) and Cross The Threshold (1993) — just a real Loudblast album." Bassist Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, ex-Dragonforce), die op Burial Ground nog sessiemuzikant was, maar nu tot de vaste line-up behoort, voegt eraan toe: "While we kept certain elements of Burial Ground, especially in terms of darkness, there was also common goal to go back to the roots of Loudblast. Stylistically, it is a balance between the brutality of Disincarnate and the technicity and melodicity of Sublime Dementia."
